Overview

This document explains how to add visual customizations to the VMOSS system.

How to Add a Custom Logo

There are steps to add a custom logo to VMOSS once it has already been installed:

  • 1) Put the image into the /www/theme/default/img/ directory.
  • 2) Open up the /conf/sysconf.inc file, and set to $conf['extension_logo_name'] just the name of the image (such as "logo.bmp" or "logo.jpg").
  • 3) Also in the sysconf.inc file, you may optionally set to $conf['extension_logo_url'] a URL to go to when the logo is clicked.

To have these changes be made automatically upon installation of VMOSS, follow the same steps but instead of modifying the sysconf.inc file, modify the sysconf.inc.tpl file.

How to Add a Custom HTML Title

These are the steps to add a custom title to VMOSS once it has already been installed:

  • 1) Open up the /conf/sysconf.inc file
  • 2) Set to $conf['extension_title'] the HTML title that you wish to be on each web page.

To have these changes be made automatically upon installation of VMOSS, follow the same steps but instead of modifying the sysconf.inc file, modify the sysconf.inc.tpl file.
