- Read Y. Benkler
& H. Nissenbau, Commons-based peer production and virtue. This
article raises the interesting question "What does it mean in ethical
terms that many individuals can find themselves cooperating
productively with strangers and acquaintances on a scope never before
seen?" Provide your own answer to this question based on your reading
and understanding of the article. The authors obviously believe that
peer-production enterprises such as Wikipedia, Linux, are virtuous and
can help build a more virtuos society. Do you agree? What example(s) can
you cite--other than the ones the authors have presented--to support
your view? Write a short essay (~250 words) to present and defend your
views and post it to our
assignment page.
