Jamie Mazur '00 Wins Best Student Award at CCSCNE-2000

Jamie Mazur '00 won the Best Student Poster Award at the 2000 meeting of the Consortium for Computing in Small Collges Northeast Regional Conference (CCSENE-2000). The conference was held on April 28-29 at Ramapo College in Ramopo New Jersey.

The title of his poster was "A Content-based Approach to Web Scripting" and was based on research he did as part of his senior project. Jamie developed a scripting language written in XML (eXtended Markup Language) and demonstrated its content-based capabilities by using it to develop several Web applications, including an online quiz grading program. The work was supervised by Prof. Morelli.

Congratulations Jamie!
