Introduction

Each team will have 3 minutes to present their app. The presentation should include

• Your elevator pitch.

  [name of app] is a
  [kind of thing it is]
  for [the people who would use it]
  that, unlike [the major alternatives],
  [the major distinguishing feature of your app]
  

• A brief overview and justification of your app, including why it's worth our attention.

• A live demo of your app, where you walk us through its main features.

Demo

For the live demo we will be using a free software program called Android Screen Capture. I will have this running on my Macintosh and each group will plug their phone (with their app running) into my Mac to present the demo.

Although it's not necessary, you can try downloading and installing the Android Screen Capture on your Windows or Mac machine. To set it up, you'll have to read the "readme.txt" file and follow the instructions there (that's the "price" you pay for some free software).

Practice

You should practice your presentation. It will be evaluated and factored in to your overall grade on the project. Evaluation criteria include:

• Informativeness -- how well did the presentation represent the project?
• Clarity -- was the presentation clear and understandable?
• Demo -- did the demo work correctly??
• Timing -- was the presentation completed within 2-3 minutes?
