This is a research exercise. The purpose is to find applications of GAs (genetic algorithms). GAs have been applied in a wide variety of problem domains, from computer programming, to science problems, economics, the arts, and others.

Each student should find and document one real application of a GA -- i.e., not experimental or demonstration. Each student must find a unique example.

After you find a suitable example, write up a brief description, with links and send me a text file or, better yet, an HTML document, describing your find. I will link them to this page. post a note on it on the Wiki page.
