public class KeyDialog
extends java.awt.Dialog
implements java.awt.event.ItemListener

Creates a dialog box for entering a cipher key and alphabet. Class KeyDialog is a Dialog for entering a key value and alphabet range. These two selections are bundled into a String, which is used to construct a Cipher key.

KeyDialog

Creates a new instance of the KeyDialog class, with the specified cipher, keyName, and dialogTitle.

Parameters:

cipher - a reference to the Cipher Class.

keyName - a String representation of a particular "Key" Class name. For Example: "CaesarKey".

dialogTitle - a String representation of an appropriate title for the KeyDialog.

showKeyDialog

public int showKeyDialog()

Displays the KeyDialog and returns the option selected (0==APPROVE_OPION, 1==CANCEL_OPTION).

getSelectedAlphabetChoice

public java.lang.String getSelectedAlphabetChoice()

Returns the alphabet choice selected with a JRadioButton. Default selection is "az".

getKeyAreaText

public java.lang.String getKeyAreaText()

Returns the text in entered in the "key" JTextArea.

setKeyText

public void setKeyText(java.lang.String keyText)

Sets the key JTextArea to the specified keytext.

Parameters:

keyText - A String representation of a key, usually used to display a default value retrieved from a static constant in the "Key" class.
